Bondage

Bondage is a BDSM practice, which consists of limiting the freedom of movement by tying, chaining, or using of special devices. Bondage is one of the BD practices, although painful bondage is also a SM practice. Bondage can be used independently, either for fixation before painful practices, or as part of various BD games, including sexual ones. The word comes from the English "bondage" - "dependence, servitude." The goal of bondage is to get sadomasochistic pleasure: it can be a sense of power (for the bondage executor) and submission, helplessness (for the bottom), or pain (in painful bondage), or pleasure from the impact of ropes or chains on nerve endings. An important element is an aesthetics. There are many common types of tying, each of which has its own purpose, as well as bondage hangers. Nevertheless, the essence of bondage is not in the technical implementation of certain patterns of strapping, but in the organization of interaction between partners in order to obtain emotions. Different bondage schools use different methods for this. Bondage types. There are several bondage types - by devices that are used, execution methods, and so on. - Rope bondage. Ropes - jute, cotton, hemp, etc. are used for this type. Their thickness is usually 6-8 millimeters. A variety of additional devices can also be used - bondage rings and hooks, pulley blocks for hangers, and so on. - Steel bondage is the use of various metal devices. This includes chain bondage, as well as the use of handcuffs and shackles. - Belts bondage is the use of leather belts, a special harness or charges and chausses. It is most often used for fixing before painful practices, but can be used for suspensions, and as a disciplinary practice. - Bondage with special clothing - it is done by fixing hands in bondage sleeves, the whole body in bondage sacks, straitjackets. These devices can be made of both fabric and latex or leather. - Vacuum bondage. There is a vacuum bed, where the body is fixed in a special flexible container (usually latex), from where the air is pumped out with a vacuum pump. - Bandage with special tools. For fixing, pads of various designs (for hands, hands and head, arms and legs, etc.), a bonded chair with straps, an oblique cross, buckjumps, and other large-sized devices are used. Bondage is also attributed to the use of cages. - We can separately distinguish a variety of rope bondage - shibari, which was formed in Japan in the middle of the 20th century and has a number of characteristic features. - Painful bondage also has its specificity, where the ropes are used to inflict pain, while traditional t*****e techniques can be used with the help of a rope, and a number of techniques used in BDSM have been developed. Safety in bondage, in rope in particular is very traumatic practice. The main danger is the possibility to squeeze the nerve or b***d vessel, with further serious and impassable consequences. Meanwhile, many traditional zones for bonding, for example wrists, are the places of concentration close to the surface of passing nerves and vessels. It is also necessary to exclude the risk of damage to the joints, it is especially high in case of suspensions. Rope traces are almost inevitable consequences of bondage, which is pleasing to many bottoms, but breaches of the integrity of the skin (burns when pulling the rope) are usually avoided. Binding requires the knowledge in the field of anatomy from the Top, as well as first aid techniques for bondage injuries, and constant monitoring of the bottom's state during the action. You also need a good knowledge of bondage techniques. There are zones where tying should not be imposed: in particular, it is the neck, areas of large nerve and lymph nodes, etc. Of course, there is always a safety word. The ability to quickly release the bottom of the straps in case of emergency is also important - this requires a sharp knife or special scissors.
